Pangot is a small Himalayan village situated 15 kilometers from Nainital, a very quaint settlement of the local Kumaoni hill. It is a 25 minute drive from Nainital & one and half hrs drive from kathgodam train station. The entire drive is through the forested area of Cheena Peak Range via Snow View Point. Later you need to prepare yourself for 850 meter trek on the mountain right between the forest. These habitats are excellent for bird watching and treks. This green belt supports an enormous variety of flora and fauna. More than 250 species of birds have been recorded in this area. Renowned for Birding and nature walks, you can choose to soak in the terrific uninterrupted natural beauty or read a book and relax as you spot birds and wildlife right from comfort of your room’s and sit out area.
